Career Assessment and Coaching Resources for Job Seekers

Whether you’re thinking about transitioning into a new role or career, or you’re not sure which jobs your skills align with, we’ve collected and shared some of our top resources to help you move forward.

A successful job search starts with getting clear about what you want. While there is always some flexibility, clarity will help you focus your materials and job search efforts.

Here’s an example of a clear focus for a job search:

  • Job/role: Project manager working for an organization that delivers digital products & services

  • Company/organization: Medium sized company (up to 500 employees) that is based in the US or North America, and that has been in business for 10+ years.

  • Sector/industry: Environment & environmental justice, in particular looking for community organizing or technology focused companies addressing clean air, water, and green spaces/forest.

If you’re not sure what your focus is yet, that’s ok! That’s what these resources are here for. And, we’ll keep this page updated with new resources, so make sure to bookmark it and come back often.

Career Assessments — these are short to medium-length quizzes where you answer questions about your likes, dislikes, strengths, and what’s important to you, and in return, you’ll receive a report that provides information on potential careers.
