  • (ADDED 4/1) The Bed-Stuy Create & Connect Fund is a hyperlocal micro-grant program that seeds and supports the creative ideas and/or civic actions of artists, cultural practitioners, community organizers, activists, and neighbors whose proposals aim to enrich community life in Bed-Stuy, Brooklyn. During the 2024 cycle, the fund will provide $1000 grants towards each funded project for a total of up to 20 proposals. The deadline to apply is May 1, 2024. Learn more and apply here.

  • The GRTF Scholarship Fund helps transgender students demonstrating financial need with education-related expenses while pursuing a degree or certificate from an accredited college, university, or technical/vocational program with a satellite campus or permanent presence in Kent County, MI. There is no residency, age, or GPA requirement. The deadline to apply is May 1, 2024. Learn more and apply here.

  • Applications are now open for the 2024 Braiding Seeds Fellowship, 18 month long remote fellowship program for beginning BIPOC farmers based in the northeast and southeast of the US, including all states and territories that touch the Atlantic Ocean and its tidal arms (ME, NH, MA, RI, CT, NY, NJ, MD, VA, NC, SC, GA, FL, DC, MS, AL, LA, PA, WV, VT.). The fellowship will take place July 24, 2024 - December 31, 2025 and provides $50,000 stipends and resources in professional development, mentorship, business acumen, and individualized coaching.   • (ADDED 4/5) The Vigilant Love Artist Activist Fellowship is a six-month program for young, emerging artists ages 18-24 from Muslim, Black, Indigenous, and/or POC (BIPOC) communities who have a desire to create political art that connects to abolitionist movements, community care, and healing justice. Fellows will also receive a $1000 participation stipend and an additional $500 to support the creation of artwork to showcase at a community exhibit at the end of the program. The deadline to apply is May 1, 2024.   • (ADDED 4/2) The Processing Foundation announced the open call for their 2024 Sustaining Community: Expansion & Access fellowship program. The fellowship will support 8 total innovative projects from artists, designers, activists, educators, engineers, researchers, coders, collectives, and many more, who are working at the intersection of creative technology, art, and open-source software, with a $10,000 stipend, dedicated mentorship, skill-building workshops, public programs, and community engagement opportunities.   • (ADDED 4/15) AIDS United’s Transgender Leadership Initiative prioritizes funding organizations adopting intersectional approaches to addressing the HIV epidemic in the United States. In addition, the initiative prioritizes organizations dedicated to the wellness of transgender people of color (TPOC), including community-based organizations, community planning bodies, and local networks. The program provides an 8-month Leadership Development Program with a service-learning community project component, $2,500 stipend for selected individuals, and a $10,000 grant for the selected participants’ affiliated organization to support their participation during work hours, including professional development and project implementation.   • (ADDED 4/4) The Sistas Uprising Fund will select eight BIWOC or femme-expressing POC visual artists based in the US or Canada to receive $200 microgrants. The fund is open to artists 18+ and will close once at 21 submissions. The deadline to apply is May 5, 2024. Learn more and apply here.

  • (ADDED 5/1) The Okra Project is accepting applications for the Black Trans Joy Fund, providing $200 in unrestricted funds to Black trans, nonbinary, and gender nonconforming individuals for mental health related expenses. The deadline to apply is May 5, 2024. Learn more and apply here.

  • (ADDED 4/10) We!Are Unmuted Justice is a powerful campaign that celebrates the remarkable spirit of Africa in the face of climate injustice and social challenges through art and creativity. Creative Collectives from South Africa, Kenya, Nigeria, Senegal and Egypt are invited to apply for the 2024 We!Are Unmuted Program and lead in the delivery of a campaign which addresses climate injustice in relevant and refreshing ways. Selected hubs will be supported with training, mentorship, and a grant of $10,000 to curate a pop-up showcase or creative installation that will facilitate public engagement and participation.   • (ADDED 4/8) The LGBTQ+ Survivor Leadership Summit, a project of the Los Angeles LGBT Center, will bring together fifteen LGBTQ+ survivors of domestic violence from across the country to provide collaborative space for knowledge sharing and leadership development trainings in order to advocate for systemic, social, and legal change. The LGBTQ+ Leadership Summit will host workshops from Monday August 19th, 2024, to Friday August 23rd, 2024- this includes travel days.   • (ADDED 4/8) The ReadyLaunch grant is open to all female-identifying, non-binary persons and those individuals affected by gender-related issues in the realm of design. The grant is tailored to kickstart or fully launch small, executable projects in the design community. Grantees will be awarded 4 fellowships at $2000 each. The deadline to apply is May 8, 2024.   • (ADDED 4/4) Black & Beyond the Binary Collective launched their annual Umoja Kijana Shujaa cohort, an 8-week long leadership cohort built with the purpose of empowering Black TQN2SI+ youth to become leaders in their community. The program will cover topics such as rights, boundary setting, medical advocacy, community building, and radical imagination. Participants will be paid $19 per hour and will meet in-person on Fridays starting June 22nd. Participants renting in Multnomah County will receive full rent assistance for the 2-month program.   • (ADDED 4/25) Social Insights Research offers an opportunity for graduate students and early-career research/evaluation professionals with internship and fellowship starting in the summer of 2024. This program aims to provide graduate students and early-career research/professionals with hands-on experience using liberatory research methods to conduct program evaluation and community-based research. Interns will be working remotely with Social Insights part-time (10-20 hours/week) for 10 weeks in the Summer or for 4 months in the Fall or Spring, and receive $30/hr compensation. Fellows will be working remotely with Social Insights part-time (5-10 hours/week) for 10 weeks in the Summer or for 4 months in the Fall or Spring, and receive $45/hr compensation.   • (ADDED 5/1) The Sojourners Journalism Cohort is a part-time, five-month, remote training program designed to give early-career, non-white writers hands-on, paid training as freelance journalists. The cohort will accept three news reporters and three opinion writers per period who will each write approximately five faith and justice articles for sojo.net over the program. Cohort members will be paid $400 per month, for a total of $2,000 by the completion of the program. The deadline to apply is May 12, 2024. Learn more and apply here.

  • (ADDED 5/2) Advance Gender Equity in the Arts (AGE) is accepting applications for their AGE Legacy Playwright Grant 2024 to increase the representation of BIPOC playwrights of marginalized gender*, 40+ years of age. Three playwrights will receive individual unrestricted grants of $10,000 each. The deadline to apply is May 15, 2024. Learn more and apply here.

  • (ADDED 4/25) The Roddenberry Fellowship is a 12-month program offering selected US-based social justice leaders a $50,000 grant and access to a community of peers who are driving tangible change for communities across the nation.   • The McKnight Fellowship for Ceramic Artists supports outstanding Minnesota ceramic artists who identify with any methodology. Two $25,000 grants will be awarded in 2024. Fellowship support may be pursued for, but not limited to: experimenting with new techniques and materials; purchasing materials and equipment; collaborating with other artists; or pursuing education, exhibition, or travel opportunities.   • (ADDED 4/10) The NIAS Safe Haven Fellowship is intended for scholars, artists, writers and journalists who are not able to do their work in their current location or circumstances, because of the consequences of conflict or war. NIAS’ aim is to protect scholars and cultural actors whose work is restricted or obstructed by state or non-state entities, by offering them temporary relocation and enabling them to continue their work. Those who are facing severe infringements on their academic freedoms due to conflict or war are also welcome to apply. This additional Call for Applications 2024-25 in an extended Safe Haven Fellowship, which specifically targets scholars affected by the war in Gaza. Fellows receive a stipend of of €2,500 per month.   • First Nations is now accepting applications for the Advancing Tribal Nature-Based Solutions Grant for projects that aim to grow tribal capacity and programming to employ and monitor community-, culture-, and nature-based approaches. First Nations expects to award 6 grants up to $200,000 each to eligible tribes and organizations. The deadline to apply is May 22, 2024. Learn more and apply here.

  • (ADDED 4/10) The Canary Impact Prize is designed to promote community, build capacity, and provide support to formerly incarcerated leaders focused on achieving transformative impact through the launch of systemic solutions. The award is $10,000 given directly to formerly incarcerated leaders who have bold ideas. The deadline to apply is May 22, 2024. Learn more and apply here.

  • The Trans Health Advocacy Program, a part of Kentucky Health Justice Network, is accepting applications to support Trans Kentuckians seeking gender affirming surgeries with a $2,500 grant. The only requirement for eligibility funding is that you have completed a consultation with a surgeon and are a KY resident.   • (ADDED 4/10) The Disability Inclusion Fund (DIF) at Borealis Philanthropy is accepting applications from organizations working to strengthen disability inclusion, rights, and justice. This funding opportunity will provide two-year grants. Successful applicants will receive $75,000 per year totaling $150,000. The deadline to apply is May 29, 2024. Learn more and apply here.

  • (ADDED 4/17) The Emerging Leaders for Change Program is a two-year leadership program that supports passionate young activists (aged 15-29) with the resources, platforms, connections, and trainings necessary to amplify and achieve their advocacy goals. They are currently accepting applications for their East Africa Cohort for folks that live and work in Burundi, Ethiopia, Kenya, Rwanda, Tanzania, or Uganda are eligible to apply.   • The Next Generation Leadership Institute Fellowship, an innovative program highlighting important issues impacting Black women, girls, and gender-expensive people, is dedicated to training Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) students to become leaders in Reproductive Justice. This two-year, paid fellowship, spanning the nine-month academic year, focuses on core competencies such as Reproductive Justice, Leadership, Advocacy, and Movement Building.   • The Proud Shoes First Book Fellowship, a book workshop & writing retreat in October 2024, committee invites applications from scholars who are developing their first full academic book manuscript in history, social justice, politics, law, race, gender, and sexuality studies or related fields. The goal of this fellowship is to provide critical feedback to new authors toward completion of a full-length book of scholarly work. Awardees in 2024 will spend one day at a virtual workshop. Eight awards will be offered (award will include a $1,000 stipend, meal voucher, and writing library). The deadline to apply is May 31, 2024. Learn more and apply here.

  • The Disruptors Fellowship supports emerging television writers of color who identify as transgender, non-binary, disabled, or undocumented/formerly undocumented. During this 3-month program, fellows are provided with a $10,000 stipend, mentorship, professional development, master classes and an opportunity to build community with other writers of color, both emergent and leaders in their field.   • The Wellcome Accelerator Awards will support researchers of Black, Bangladeshi and Pakistani heritage in the UK to undertake activities that put them in a stronger position to reach their next career stage. Researchers will receive a salary (if needed) and up to £200,000 for project expenses, which can be used for research or research-adjacent activities, such as training, secondments, and networking.   • (ADDED 5/1) Grants for Artist Projects (GAP) are unrestricted project-based grants of $1,500 awarded to 65 artists working in all disciplines across Washington State. Funding may be used for but not limited to artist fees, materials, equipment, space rental, travel for research, documentation, professional development opportunities, marketing and promotion, support to continue a current project, support to start a new project, and many other needs related to your project.   • The Maypole Fund is a small grant-giving organisation that funds feminist activism against militarism and war up to £1000. The Maypole Fund has two funding sessions each year. The submission deadlines for each of these sessions are at the end of January and June of each year. Learn more and apply here.

  • (ADDED 4/1) The Illuminations Grant for Black Trans Women Visual Artists, a $10,000 grant, supports visual artists who are self-identified Black trans women. The deadline to apply is June 30th, 2024. Learn more and apply here.

  • (ADDED 4/8) The Robert Giard Grant for Emerging LGBTQ+ Photographers, Queer|Art’s first international grant, provides an award of $10,000 for the winner and $1,250 for distinguished finalists, to support the creation of new work by emerging LGBTQ+ photographers whose projects address issues of sexuality, gender, or LGBTQ+ identity.   • (ADDED 4/8) Google Conference Scholarships covers registration, hotel accommodation, round trip travel, and a offers a $100 travel stipend for historically excluded college students and professionals in tech to attend selected conferences in the tech industry and related fields. Tech conferences on their list are based in North America, Africa, and Asia Pacific. There are two North American deadlines to apply for upcoming tech conferences: July 7, 2024 and September 10, 2024. Learn more and apply here.

  • (ADDED 4/4) The Radical Communicators Network is seeking seasoned narrative and communications strategists who are interested in writing short case studies on climate justice. Each case study should include an analysis of the sociopolitical context, the dominant narratives being deployed by the opposition, counternarrative interventions in relation to the overall campaign/movement strategy, and your assessment of the impact.   • (ADDED 4/4) Network Weaver invites BIPOC community workers, builders, carers and anyone weaving networks and reimagining network leadership practices through a lens of liberation to submit a 500-750 word blog post on what’s most resonant for you this season. They especially want to amplify the visions and voices of Black, queer, Indigenous, refugee, disabled, economically exploited (& more) folks. Contributors can expect a stipend of $250 to be sent as soon as their 500-750 word reflections go live. Learn more and apply here.

  • (ADDED 4/1) Roots is offering micro-grant support of USD 10,000 for projects, initiatives, research, or campaigns from the Global South that advocate for climate justice through an intersectional lens; have strategies rooted in radical systemic change; and reach new, persuadable audiences.   • (ADDED 4/1) The Los Angeles Young Adult Emergency Relief Fund is an unrestricted grantmaking program for disabled and historically underrepresented young adults pursuing careers in writing and filmmaking in Los Angeles. The Fund will provide $500 grants to 18-25 year old disabled writers and filmmakers experiencing financial hardship. Learn more and apply here.

  • ARTNOIR’s The Jar of Love Fund is a microgrant initiative intended to provide relief for artists, curators, and cultural producers of color. Applications are open to all those 18 years or older working within the arts, living in all fifty states, territories and Tribal Nations. Learn more and apply here.

  • The Institute for Research on Male Supremacism (IRMS) is offering a few stipends of $1000 to support participation from trans and cis women of color, trans men of color, and nonbinary people of color in their fellowship and mentorship programs. Fellow and mentee applications for this stipend will be accepted until December 17, 2024. Learn more and apply here.

    The 2024 Association for Queer Anthropology (AQA) Fellowships, offering general and unqualified support for scholars and students in the United States to continue practicing queer anthropology, will award five grants of up to $400 each to support members of the AQA community.   • The BIPOC Artist Exchange and Activation Initiative is designed to showcase the contributions of BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, People of Color) artists to the New England art community. This program empowers BIPOC artists in New Hampshire and New England, inspiring local BIPOC artists by introducing them to artists from outside our community.   • MaskBloc Long Beach is accepting requests for free masks and test for QTPOC and disabled folks based in the Long Beach area. Learn more and submit a request here.

  • MaskBloc Waterloo has open applications to request free Personal Protective Equipment (respirator masks, rapid tests, etc) from Mask Bloc Waterloo Region (Canada). Learn more and submit a request here.

  • FCA offers immediate, project-based emergency grants to visual and performing artists living and working in the U.S. and abroad who have sudden, unanticipated opportunities to present their work to the public or incur unexpected or unbudgeted expenses for projects close to completing with committed exhibition or performance dates.   • Austin Creative Alliance is accepting applications for their Artists Emergency Fund, offering immediate assistance for individual artists and their families in Greater Austin. Cultural sector workers based in Greater Austin facing verifiable and immediate housing, food or healthcare insecurity (including travel, lodging and procedure expenses related to reproductive care) may apply for up to $1000 in unrestricted funds.   • Intransitive has multiple support funds available for Trans & Two Spirit people living in Arkansas facing emergency situations. The Brayla Stone Microgrant supports Black Transgender women and girls living in Arkansas with rent assistance, utilities, temporary emergency housing, groceries, medical expense & transportation. Additional microgrants include a fund for trans immigrants, fund for trans youth, fund for incarcerated trans siblings, and a general fund for trans, gnc, non-binary, and two spirit Arkansans.

  • The Transdolescent Fund supports Trans and Two Spirit adolescents (Trans youth and Two Spirit youth) living in Arkansas who need access to gender affirming gear. Learn more and submit a request here.

  • The Womanist Working Collective reopened applications for the Winter 2024 cycle of the Black Liberation Therapy Fund, which provides financial assistance for Black gender expansive folks, specifically Black women of trans and cis experience, Black femmes, and/or Black non-binary people to increase access to mental health and wellness support.   • Southern Equality Fund is accepting nominations for their Southern Healers: Southern Equality Fund, a special grant round dedicated to so many of the innovative healing efforts led by LGBTQI Black, Indigenous and People of Color (BIPOC) Southerners. This $10,000 Southern Healers Special Grant Round will distribute grants of up to $500 to organizing efforts led by BIPOC LGBTQI Southerners. Learn more and apply here.

  • BIPOC Therapy Fund is accepting applications for folks currently impacted by the crisis in Palestine and need financial assistance to access therapy services. They are prioritizing Palestinians and folks with family and loved ones in Palestine. Activists, care workers, folks with roots in the SWANA region (South West Asia North Africa), and BIPOC Muslim, Jewish, Christian allies personally impacted can reach out to care@mentalhealthliberation.org to receive support. Please note: If you are not currently impacted by the crisis in Palestine, sign up for their newsletter to be notified when the next BIPOC Therapy Fund application cycle opens up.

  • Trans Resistance Network provides resources for those families and individuals who are relocating to a safer state as a consequence of state laws against gender diverse people, criminalization of gender affirming care, or lack of community safety due to one’s gender identity and expression. Requests for relocation support can be submitted here.

  • The Black Trans Women Inc Sister’s Keeper program provides emergency assistance to trans women in the United States to help cover unexpected emergency needs such as groceries, shelter, safe transportation and phone/utility expenses. Learn more and apply here.

  • Black Trans Wellness Fund is now open for Black trans people in Philadelphia. 10 grantees will be selected each month to receive $250.00 by check or Cash app. This is a rolling application that will be opened at the beginning of the month for a week. Learn more and apply here.

  • The Black Farmer Fund (BFF) Community Garden Fund is now accepting applications. This fund will support Black-led community gardens community gardens in the Northeast U.S. and up to 20 community gardens will be eligible for an award of $500 to go towards their general operating support and capacity building costs. This is a one time pool of funds being facilitated by Black Farmer Fund. The application will close once funds are depleted. Learn more about eligibility requirements and apply here.

  • DAY RATE is a $300 monthly artist grant for Black and Native American femme, queer, trans, non-binary, and gender non-conforming filmmakers and creative storytellers. A new grant recipient is drawn on the 1st of each month. Learn more and apply here.

  • The Black Trans Wellness Fund recently reopened to support Black trans people residing in Philadelphia. The fund committee will select 10 grantees each month to receive $250.00 by check or Cash App. This is a rolling application that will be opened at the beginning of the month for a week.   • The FREE STEM Fund offers up to 50,000 EUR in funding for initiatives and projects in the Global South from registered and unregistered initiatives, groups, collectives, and organisations focused on the rights of girls, women, transgender and non-binary people and STEM.   • Soul Fire Farm launched a Travel Fund to help BIPOC farmers and land stewards defray costs of attending solidarity events. Learn more and apply here.

  • Black & Beyond the Binary Collective (B3C) is accepting applications for their Housing Safety Fund. The fund is intended to support significantly marginalized Portland residents currently struggling with housing security and/or safety with limited financial assistance. Eligible participants in the B3C Housing Safety Fund are (but are not limited to): adults aged 18+, currently experiencing houselessness, housing instability, residing in Multnomah County.   • Emergent Fund is a rolling, monthly rapid response and emergent organizing grant for movement and frontline communities responding to urgent and specific unanticipated crises or opportunities to build power. Applications are due every third Thursday each month. Learn more and apply here.

  • Black Trans Men Inc. is offering a grant of up to $1000 to assist with the financial obligation for undergoing elective gender affirming top surgery for Black and African American trans men. Learn more and submit a Gender Affirming Surgery Financial Assistance Application here.

  • Social Impact Labs awards $1,000 to support community projects. Applications are accepted on a rolling basis and remain eligible for six months. Apply by the end of a given month to be considered for the following month’s award. Learn more and apply here.

  • The Black Journalists Therapy Relief Fund (BJTRF) provides assistance for Black journalists facing financial hardship who are unable to pay for mental health support. Learn more and apply for funding here.

  • Kentucky Health Justice Network accepts funding requests from Kentucky residents seeking financial assistance for gender affirming care/items via their Trans Health Advocacy program. Learn more and submit a request here.

  • (ADDED 4/1) The BICA Microgrant is a $300 good-faith grant for artists and curators who are realizing a project in the greater Buffalo area.   • The 2024 Trans/Nonbinary Law Graduates of Color Grant Fund will award three unrestricted $1,000 grants to help offset the costs associated with the period of time between graduation and taking the Bar Exam/employment. Accepted grantees will also receive a 1-year free membership with the National LGBTQ+ Bar Association.   • The 2024 New York City Artadia Awards will award $15,000 in unrestricted funding to artists in New York City. The deadline to apply is April 1, 2024. Learn more about eligibility requirements and apply here.

  • The USCPR Palestine Youth Organizing Fellowship will support local leaders ages 15-35 who are developing or running local Palestine campaigns. Through the fellowship program, USCPR mentors rising leaders in the US movement for Palestinian liberation and helps nurture their local campaigns to challenging Israel's ethnic cleansing & transform U.S. policy towards justice.   • (ADDED 4/1) The Creative Capital Award provides unrestricted project grants which can be drawn down over a multi-year period, bespoke professional development services, and community-building opportunities. The deadline for submitting is April 4, 2024. Learn more and apply here.

  • (ADDED 4/1) The Shed’s, a platform for NYC-based, early-career artists working in a range of artistic disciplines, Open Call will support selected projects with a commissioning fee of up to $15,000 of producing stewardship per artist or collective.   • (ADDED 4/1) KODA offers an artist residency program in Governors Island, NY for two mid-career, female-identifying and/or non-binary artists who create conceptual and socially engaged work.   • iF, A Foundation for Radical Possibility’s Racial Justice Fellowship is a two-year, full-time paid position designed for a resident of the DMV region (Washington, DC, northern Virginia and suburban Maryland) who has recent lived experience with oppressive systems (e.g., housing instability and homelessness, low wage work and wage theft, unemployment and underemployment, harm from the criminal legal system) and is committed to racial justice. The fellow will receive an annual salary of $50,000 + benefits, including health, dental, and vision insurance, a four-day work week, paid time off, holiday pay, retirement plan (including matching contributions), and disability and life insurance.   • Black Eco Bloom is looking for experienced facilitators to lead online workshops for their upcoming Black Women in the Environment Training Program. The goal of the program is to support Black women and gender diverse individuals to be environmental leaders in their communities. Workshops will be approx. 1-1.5hrs and should focus in one of the following areas: Environmental Pollution & Public Health, Energy & Just Transition, Climate Displacement & Human Security, or Food Security & Sustainable Food Systems.   • The Lighthouse Reports Fellowship Program 2024 is looking for three part-time fellows to join their investigative teams for six months. Over six months, fellows will be required to participate 2.5 days per week and will receive a stipend of 1,100 euros per month and support to develop investigative skills and contribute to active investigations with their network of global media partners, working across Lighthouse’s data, OSINT, impact and editorial teams.   • (ADDED 4/1) The Enthuse Foundation is offering a series of financial grants to assist entrepreneurs with critical business and personal needs including insurance, retirement, health care, child care, community building, business tools, a rainy day fund and digital marketing.   • The SONG 2024 Free From Fear Cohort is an 8-month cohort of up to 14 lead organizers to develop and run locally rooted Free From Fear campaign work in up to 7 sites across the South. It is strongly encouraged to apply in pairs. This cohort is open to all current SONG members in the South (become a member or renew your membership here). Members who are Black, Indigenous, People of Color, members living in Deep South states (AL, MS, GA, LA, SC), and members living in small towns and rural areas are especially encouraged to apply.   • (ADDED 4/8) The Leadership for Democracy and Social Justice’s Social Change Fellowship program is looking for Career Empowerment Mentors based in the New York tri-state area. Mentors will provide guidance and support to talented early social sector leaders to expand their access to the knowledge and resources necessary to thrive in the complex field of social change and movement building. Mentors will be paid $250 for attending orientation and $3000 for 15 hours of mentorship over a 6-month period ranging from June-November 2024. The deadline to apply is April 12, 2024.   • The Film Impact Georgia Filmmaker Grant will support Georgia-based filmmakers in producing short film content to practice their craft and further their skills as filmmakers. To qualify, you must be a Georgia-based filmmaker and have plans to shoot the film in the next year in Georgia.   • (ADDED 4/4) Chicago Freedom School’s Freedom Fellowship is a 6-month intensive social justice leadership program for Black and Brown youth ages 14-17 that explores social movement history, systems of oppression and liberation, community organizing, and youth-led action. Youth participating in the 2024 Freedom Fellowship will receive a $1000 stipend for their participation.   • The Democracy Cycle will commission and develop 25 new performing arts works across the fields of theater, dance, music, opera, and multi-disciplinary performance that express themes related to the nature and practice of democracy, particularly as it is practiced in the United States. Artists will receive a commission of $30,000 to create the new work and an additional $30,000 in support of the work’s development (research, readings, workshops etc.).   • (ADDED 4/1) The Latinx Project announced the next cycle of the Artist-in-Residence program open to emerging and mid-career artists based in the United States. The artist-in-residence receives an honorarium award of up to $10,000 and a $5,000 production budget managed by TLP for a solo exhibition at New York University with the option of curatorial support, opportunities to develop related public programming, exhibition documentation, press materials, and PR support.   • (ADDED 4/3) “State of The Nation: A BIPOC Artist Perspective” explores the complex interplay between politics, social justice, and healing through the lens of BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, and People of Color) artists. This open call is for BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, People of Color) artists, including Ma’s House Residency alum artists, artists working in Brooklyn and NYC, and nationwide. Selected artists will receive an honorarium of $250.00 to support the creation and presentation of their artwork, along with an offering of up to $100.00 reimbursement for round-trip shipping of artwork.   • (ADDED 4/8) Soho Rep has a Writer Director Lab program to encourage bold, transformative theater artists to develop their voices and their collaborations in a supported space free from market-based expectations. The program will support four collaborative teams, based in the NYC-area, as they develop their projects over 12 months.   • The QTPiE Emerging Scholar Grant addresses the void of quantitative queer and trans scholarship in secondary and postsecondary education and provides the opportunity for an emerging scholar to collaboratively work with QTPiE to analyze quantitative data about queer and trans students. Benefits include $1500, collaborating on a summer 2024 research project with QTPiE members, presenting your findings in a national webinar, and the potential to co-author a manuscript or policy brief.   • SOZO Fellowship Pilot is a 6-month coaching program designed to equip full time working, mid-career independent artists with sustainability and entrepreneurship training to reach new heights in their livelihood and creative endeavors.   • Radical Release is a 12-week healing centered learning community that offers sacred space for Black women movement leaders to undergo a critical examination of self to understand what is needed to keep themselves whole, sustain their energy over the life span of their careers, and build resilience. A cohort of 15 leaders will meet biweekly online for 6 healing centered learning sessions led by Black Women healing practitioners. The deadline to apply is April 19, 2024.   • The Elizabeth Neuffer Fellowship provides academic and professional opportunities to advance the reporting skills of women and nonbinary journalists who focus on human rights and social justice. Neuffer Fellows receive a fixed monthly stipend to cover their living costs and health insurance during the program. The IWMF also arranges and covers the cost of housing in Cambridge and New York City for the fellow and purchases round-trip economy airfare from the fellow’s place of residence to the United States, as well as transportation between the Fellowship cities.   • The LGBTQ Fund at Grand Rapids Community Foundation is now accepting applications for funding from community organizations in West Michigan with programming that addresses social determinants of health for LGBTQ+ communities. The deadline to apply is April 22, 2024. Learn more and apply here.

  • The 776 Foundation Climate Fellowship is a two-year, global fellowship program for young people between the ages of 18-24, who want to build a better future. Fellows receive a $100,000 grant and support from the network. The deadline to apply is April 24, 2024. Learn more and apply here.

  • The Competition Policy and Power Research Fund aims to promote research that will help combat excessive market power by bridging gaps in current knowledge and supporting practical advances and innovations in the use of competition and anti-trust tools. The fund seeks applications from civil society and academic organisations for research grants on competition policy and concentrated corporate power. The proposed projects should show how the research can concretely advance the anti-monopoly agenda. Applications from all countries and regions are welcome research grants of up to USD 60,000 will be awarded to a broad diversity of applicants. The deadline to apply is April 30, 2024.   • Trans Closet of Hudson Valley builds free surgery care packages for trans, nonbinary, and gender-expansive community members living in the Hudson Valley who are planning on receiving gender-affirming surgeries. They also have a local transgender resource list with local LGBTQ+ centers, emergency funds & aid, housing resources, gender-affirming healthcare, legal services, and more.

  • Rainbow Serpent is a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization committed to advancing Black LGBTQ culture through the exploration of emerging technologies, innovative healing protocols, African cosmologies, and multimedia art.

  • African Queer Youth Initiative is a network of youth activists mobilising, supporting and amplifying the voice of LGBTQI+ activists and youths in Africa. Their program, Opportunity Point, is dedicated to helping LGBTIQ+ youth in Africa find opportunities for education, careers, mentorship, and more.

  • Trans Resistance Network provides resources for those families and individuals who are relocating to a safer state as a consequence of state laws against gender diverse people, criminalization of gender affirming care, or lack of community safety due to one’s gender identity and expression.

  • Survivor’s Sanctuary is a self guided healing platform created to aid survivors in their healing journeys.

  • Gender Justice LA has a working Resource Guide (+COVID Resource Guide) with regularly updated resources for TGI people in response to COVID-19. Resources include health & wellness, food, grants, mutual aid, educational resources, safety, housing, and more. Their guide has a focus on the Los Angeles area but also includes links to organizations doing work throughout the state and country.

  • ProjectQ offers scholarships to BIPOC queer folks for therapy and support groups.

  • Black Transmen Inc. will award Free New & Gently Used binders for transmen of color in low-income communities through the Brother 2 Brother Health Grant program, designed to support a safe and healthy transition, providing binders to those who are in need, and simply cannot afford to purchase a binder on their own.   • Trans Closet Hudson Valley gives free, gender-affirming clothing, supplies, and/or accessories to any trans person in the Hudson Valley who is transitioning to a new wardrobe or who is seeking new clothes. They also share a nationwide list of trans closets and resources.

  • Rainbow Migration helps LGBTQI+ people though asylum and immigration system. Learn more about their work and services here. They also have a robust list of other organizations who can help LGBTQI+ people seeking asylum.
